Introducrion

Learn how the NanoSights accessibility scanner works, what rules it checks, and how the accessibility score is calculated.

Introduction

The accessibility scanner helps you identify and fix accessibility issues on your website to ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines and provide a better experience for all users.

Testing Limitations

The automated scanner has certain limitations:

  1. Color contrast - Basic contrast testing is performed, but some complex color relationships may need manual verification.
  2. Dynamic content - Content loaded dynamically with JavaScript might not be fully evaluated.
  3. Custom widgets - Custom UI components may need additional manual testing.
  4. Context-dependent issues - Some accessibility issues require human judgment to evaluate properly.

For a comprehensive accessibility evaluation, we recommend combining the automated scanner with manual testing by accessibility experts.
